Looks good figured I would finally subscribe. Can't wait to see it wheeling around. After looking through here and finding a killer enough deal I am going with 39.5's now instead of 37's It will be a race to see who is done first the shop with mine while I am deployed or you Good luck.

Im betting the shop yours is at will finish first. I had a minor set back when I bought a new motor for the truck.

2006 5.3L Silverado Motor with a Magnacharger S/C on top of it. should be good for 450-500hp with the heads and cam I have.

I had to make a tough choice, do I continue to build the 1tons and hope they hold up to the new power? or part them out and step up to rockwells? In the end after talking it over with a few guys from my club and a couple guys who are running similar setups. It just didn't make sense to continue with the D60/D70 combo. They might hold up but I would be pushing them to the edge as far as strength goes. In the end it just made sense to go with rockwells.

I already have a set of double beadlock rockwell wheels that came with my tires, so that issue was easy to solve. Going with rockwells also allows me to go with 4 wheel steering which will be a huge advantage based on my wheelbase.

Nothing to update really. Sold most of my 1 ton parts. I'm on the look out for a set of steering rockwells, but no luck locally yet.

I'm trying to buy a house right now, so things have been going slow. I found a killer deal on this front rockwell, so I decided to jump on it. I'm getting it cheap enough that even spending the $200 or so on gas, it was still cheaper then anything else I could find.

Apparently when someone tells you they are holding the axle for you, it means they sell it the night before you leave to go pick it up and then they don't call you. And he wondered why I was pissed on the phone.
