Default sas steering tips for 2004 ranger xl

im converting a 2004 ranger xl to sas 4x4 and need a few tips on steering.
should i keep the rack and use clevis ends or use a steering box? the rack would be preferred. any tips will help alot.

I think you'll find that you can't use the rack. DO LOTS MORE READING.

Yes def research more, if you are thinking they use racks. If you cant find enough info on here, RPS, TRS check out www.pirate4x4.com. I did over a year of research before I did my first SAS and another 6months of part collecting. What axles are you useing, what tires are you running, what is your drivetrain going to be, Leaf, 4link, coils, or coil over front end? You need to sit down and come up with a budget and what you are wanting to use your truck for and answer all of these questions first.

That really should not have a bend in it.

True. But the leaf is in the way. They always seem to do that. No matter how many times I asked it to not be.
