Re: SAS swap+lift
I saw those pics of your steering box, i didn't really see what you meant about notching out the frame. That box needs to be mounted as far forward as possible, correct?

Re: SAS swap+lift
Just dropped off the parts to make the trail shaft. 45" of 2 3/4" .250 wall seamless with 1/2c of antifreeze for balancing. Should hopefully balance enough to be comfortable to drive.

Re: SAS swap+lift
Picked up some new shoes for the Ranger. 38.5x14.5-16.5" TSL SX's with some stupidly heavy rims (1/4 steel plate). Wheel+tire combo is a good bit heavier than my old tubed wheels/tires/tubes so I am probably going to swap to the tubed rims.
(ignore the mess in the garage packing up to move)
previous owner has no idea what rocks are so the body is perfect
pretty good tread left on two of them the other two ar ea little weaker and cupped from over inflation.

Re: SAS swap+lift
Fastest way to air them down Stems are out this is when air stopped coming out. Drove down the driveway to unbead them.
The new ones are all mounted unluckily one of the tubes is twisted so I am going to have to pop one bead on that one to fix it.
They look nice all mounted up. Even more aggressive than the TSL's.

Re: SAS swap+lift
Long story short now that I am in a hotel. Wife calls and as I look down at phone and the RPM's start to walk up. Its on cruise so I didn't really think to much of it at that moment. Truck started to pull heavily to the right so I tried to correct (cruise still on) no go RPM's really climb tap the brakes kill cruise truck jerks onto the shoulder and I locked the brakes as it went into the ditch
Front right tire looks fine, but is flat? Tcase is leaking and the front shaft removed itself from the flange somehow, rear shaft looks like the output spline is coming out of the tcase, transmission looks like it either belched fluid from the overflow or it is sad as well. No park or reverse right now.
No idea the full extent of the damage will check in the morning.
