Made some progress again today. Unluckily today will be my last day before going back to work after my post deployment R&R. So I get nights and weekends or Todd does it for me.

Stripped down rear D60

Todd fixing the stuck roll pin so I could pull the spiders and prep them for the new carrier and welding.

Fixed.

I was refering that you might need a seperate proportioning valve for that MC, the ABS controller on vehicles sometimes has it built in but I doubt your using it, just something to be aware of if you get it together and brake bias isnt right.

According to a couple of pirate threads the valve is internal.

Loaded the tow pig down. 13 tires, and a couple hundred pounds of metal scrap. Still isn't even down to the overload.

Cleaned up the shitty chrome.

The shop owner that was helping me work on it fell onto some health issues with himself and his wife. Between that and 12hr shifts with no days off kinda put a damper on the build.

Good news is things are back on track. Goal is to have it wheeling for my b-day in beginning of April. Gears will be in the rear this week and the case is already welded up. I am hoping to have some time to sit and toss the on board air in this week as well. Will make sure to keep the thread updated.

After dealing with my tow pigs fiasco...

I snapped a pic of the steering box.

And managed to semi accomplish some of the OBA crap. Turns out there really is no room under the hood for an air compressor so picked up a truck box to keep it clean and dry.

Would have finished it up but the Viair only has 6 ports on the tank and I need 7 if I want an air hose and a hardline for the front locker. Not to mention the box is narrow and I need a couple of elbows to finish it off.
