i have a 1999 ford ranger im looking to lift,i have a 3 inch body so far and i want more than 4 inch suspension more,i started a new job so now im getting a car for a gas saver and i want to lift the ranger atleast 12 inches, i been surfing the web as best as i can on sas,anybody know how much a sas would cost around? the main thing i want to know is how are these guys getting 9 inch suspension lifts from the swaps? i was reading some are like chevy springs? huh im confused haha,please help thank!!!

A solid axle swap requires a lot of custom fabrication and planning. Its hard to estimate how much it would cost because it depends on what you might be able to pull from the wreckers, deals from friends etc...
