Default Death wobble

Hey guys I sas my 01 ranger edge and been driving it for a few weeks and it drives like a dream. Until a little while ago I hit a big Ass pot hole going around a curve at 50.. and it sent the truck into a DEATH WOBBLE from hell . And over time it's started doing it more and more since then. I can drive it fine at 30 but as soon as I get to 35 it's game on. EVERYTHING under the truck is brand new but the axle shaft u joints and I believe they're bad. Could that cause this? I need help I'm at war with this bitch.

Anything that gives it excessive play will exacerbate the problem, but there are too many variables with a custom suspension to say that is your only problem.

A pictures of your suspension might help people know what they are dealing with.

I'm no expert but your drag link and track bar need to be parallel to each other at the mounting or pivot points. The bend in the track bar doesn't fix it. You have to draw a straight line and compare the two.

yeah lol its a little rough, I thought about getting a steering stabilizer to help with that, but I know it wont help with the death wobble. Any ideas on the death wobble?

Your steering is not helping at all. Neither will the stabilizer. Put a smaller drop pitman arm. Make sure there is no slop but I would not be susprised if your steering is your major cause of it.

Steering stabilizer won't help because the geometry is off as the suspension moves.

Your drag link and track bar need to be parallel to each other and they need to be as close to the same length as possible.
That way they move together as the suspension flexes.

This^^

That looks like it would be the easiest way to get your angles closer and see how much it helps.
