Default 1990 d44 swap

So I'm looking to do a Dana 44 swap in my 1990 ranger any tips gearing probably 35's not sure

What will you be doing with the truck? Will it be a dd or a toy?
How are you at measuring? Are you a "that's close enough for gov't work" kinda guy or are you precise like a Asian doing math? If you're a "close enough" kinda guy go leafs. They're simple and cheap. If you're anal about your measurements then research radius arm suspensions, 3 link and 4 links. Coils will be way smoother riding and flex well Leafs will be kinda stiff and won't flex as well unless you learn how to adjust the leaf packs.
