Why is body lift under suspension tech?
So as the name says why on earth is body lift information under suspension tech when it has absolutely nothing to do with a vehicles suspension what so ever? It should be under exterior tech if not its own section...

Re: Why is body lift under suspension tech?
Seems to be a better fit in that area of rising them up then any others. Might confuse some people looking for it, but its whatever.

Re: Why is body lift under suspension tech?
Well it is a lift kit, though it is a body lift. Seems to be a good spot for it so that the people that are newer to the site can find it.
Perhaps you should write down all the things that you would change about the site and send them to Tom. He will then review them all the hit the delete button.

Because it a lift. Not everyone has the money to SAS or install a suspension lift.

This.
Although perhaps a better alternative is to create a lifted area that is for:
- Body lifts
- Suspension lifts
- SAS

It's not a lift its a hockey puck inbetween the body and the frame that has absolutely nothing to do with the suspension what so ever. crazy right? Maybe it should either be kicked into its own section or put under exterior body tech since that's all it is. People having the money to do some form of suspension lift has nothing to do with the locations of the half ass way on the forums.

Re: Why is body lift under suspension tech?
so we should make a whole new section called body lifts and when you click on it your option(s) would be to click on body lift... and from there you could select from several threads called body lift.....
whys it such a big deal that body lift and suspension lift are in the same section.... and by your definition more people have "fake lifts" than a "real lift"??
le sigh... some people bitch about wasted threads and then make this one..... smh

Re: Why is body lift under suspension tech?
Might want to read the post before trying to argue the validity of it.... OP is referring to the location of a section. Has nothing to do with threads....

Re: Why is body lift under suspension tech?
i did read the post, thanks for the idea though.
my point was, whats the point of body lifts having their own separate section?
that is all.

Because it has nothing to do with suspension tech so all it is doing having it under suspension is confusing new people into thinking a body lift is a suspension lift.
