Unless I'm confusing him with someone else, I think that he was just on the other day. He doesn't post as much, but I swear he replied to a thread recently (unless I responded to an older post).

I checked and he was on yesterday around midnight. I was wondering about him and why he doesn't post as much as he used to.

Probably the same as everyone else that has left. I'd imagine he has work and personal demands and has chosen those as priority. Sooner or later, I have to find a steady full-time job, and I know that I won't be as active as I'd like.

I left for a while due to circumstance. it happens to the best of us. I was probably one of the most active users on here.

Hear you on that. I'm on disability now and this is just about all I can do at this time. Maybe some day I can do alot more.

Each situation is unique. Look at Scott who now has a family and traded in his Ranger for an F150. Then, there is nightmare who underwent cancer treatment or something. Myke is doing good, me and him are great friends. Many probably dont know, but Myke was a groomsman in my wedding last year, drove all the way from Missouri to attend it!

Right now he is busy with work (he is a diesel tech), has two growing boys with one playing sports, and has been enjoying his time at the shooting range with his new found hobby---Guns.

As to why he left FRF and has not signed back in/on, he got overwhelmed with all he had to do, after all, he was doing the photo contest, the TOTM contest, etc.... He has stated to me that he is not coming back, but only time will tell.

As for me, many may have noticed that I too am not as active as I once was, I still sign on, but I dont have much to post. Over the past years, before I was married, had a new baby, only worked one job, etc--I had all the time in the world to be on FRF, but oh this year has been different! I used to clean my truck once or twice a week, do How-Tos myself, etc... Now im lucky to wash it once every two weeks, and just dont have time to do anything "I" want to.

I work full time as a draftsman 40 hours a week (M-F 7-4). Then on Tuesdays and Thursdays, i teach drafting at the local community college from 6-4. I attend church Sunday, Sunday Nights, and Wednesday nights. On Friday nights, we have Bible study with a group of friends from the church.

So that only leaves me Mondays and Saturdays to do anything, BUT then I still have a wife and child to attend to while still trying to take care of the yard, house, clean the truck, detail cars/trucks on the side, etc...

So as you can see, Im a pretty busy buy myself! Hence why the photo contest is a few days late this week.

You quickly learn that there are not enough hours in a day or days in a week! Im trying to stay as active as possible, so bear with me fellas!

it's all good when a member announces he is leaving the forums because he is getting married and wants to spend time with his family, but when that member is still actively participating in another forum, that's just a slap in the face to FRF, because he basically lied about leaving "the forums" to spend time with his family.
If you want to leave, Leave. But don't say your leaving the forum to spend time with family and then just go to another forum and then post on your facebook page "HA HA, I get emails from FRF and I haven't been on in months, I'm never coming back" as if you were abused and mistreated here.

Its because he has a life... you know, where a person leaves the house and interacts with other human beings. Often, these people with lives also have a job (hard to grasp, I know. seeing as how you have neither). These "lives" and "jobs" usually take up the better part of a persons time, yet we still have energy to pursue more. With more, I mean spouses and children, I don't expect you to understand; given the fact that you still don't grasp the concept of the first 2 things I mentioned.

Now, with all those things combined, I'd throw the deuces as well.. seeing as how I still have a little free time here and there/get bored on my breaks I'll stop in from time to time to share my views and educate a few folks.

I have just about left a couple of times. Gets a little boring answering the same 3 questions over and over again. I also think about strangling people who PM me about every stupid lift question you can think of.
