what else you could do it a picture signature, but limit the pic size to 500X200 pixels

I've thought about it, but how does that really benefit the community beyond what an avatar & text signature do?

i like the i.m part. if anyone has a myspace on here you know what im talking about when it come to the I.M part on the bottom of the screen. if someone is online and on your friends list you should be able to I.M them. it would be easier then posting a thread then waiting a while to add a respond. but other then that site is %100 great

That's a fairly sophisticated request, unfortunately I doubt they have any good IM program that can be integrated with this forum software. IMHO, our best bet is a chat like so: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/site-...-chatroom.html

Not sure how this would work because I bet it would be a PITA to keep up but...

How about a sticky thread that contains links to the owner's manuals, etc. online from Ford for different years? I've noticed that a lot of people on the site don't have access to the owner's manual for the truck, either lost or didn't come with the truck when purchased. I've also seen a lot of questions on the forum that are easily found in the owner's manual.

The Only thing I would let you know is the dark skin for the forum looks alright but the Vbulletin looks awesome I think you should have that has the main skin then let People choose.

The problem with that is that it looks EXACTLY LIKE all the other Ranger Forums.

People can still choose....I really enjoy the default.

Sidenote: Tom....we need the banner that's in the Vbulletin standard but on the dark skin!!!

OR maybe the standard skin, but with color changes? Is that even possible? The dark skin I don't think supports that big or that style of banner. I'm not that familiar with the building of websites and junk. lol.

My thoughts exactly. The default (dark) theme has been well received and it sets up apart from other forums. If users would rather have the light vBulletin theme they are free to change to that.

I actually switch between themes every now and then just because.

It would take some work but it's possible. It just never looks good IMHO. All the buttons and other graphics are made for a particular color so when you change the colors and use the same buttons/graphics it just looks bad.
