Tom, I understand the rules and for some of them say thank you. However other I do not quite agree with others. I fear that many (including myself) will stick only the to technical forum areas more and not get involved in the Off-Topic forums for risk of getting in trouble. I guess I will have to see how things go, seeing as I do not have any infractions that I know of I think I will be fine but I guess we will see.

I've had a few posts deleted, but it was due to my own stupidity. It doesn't stop me from messing around in the BS threads. If you're smart about it, you won't have any issues. For me, the BS threads are a nice way to get to know other users. I think most of the active users on here are polite, knowledgeable, and smart enough to avoid a banning.

Agreed, it is good to get to know the other members which I am planning on continuing to do. I have no plans of getting banned and such.

My deleted comments weren't about politics. I crossed the line razzing another member. It was all in good fun, but a little vulgar and out of line none the less. I have no problem with it getting deleted.

i see no problems with the new rules. life will go on as always and we BS reg will always have stuff deleted and all that jazz liek normal but we all do it in good fun and never mean any real harm

I applaud the mods for the new rules. personally, i have seen alot of hate in political threads and many other threads for that matter, and have been scared to even post in those threads because i dont want to get hated on. I havent been here long, but this is a great forum with great people and it has been a valuable resource to me in the few months i have been a member. So again, thank you mods and i support every single member on this forum and will always be as respectful as i can.

My entire argument, is that these few members are generally the ones to turn a thread south. Then you come out with, "show the banned memebers"

Meanwhile, you go and delete every dang thread, even tho nothing was in them that required deletion.

I do not have a list of banned members from the political threads. And there are never 26 users/posters in the political threads (if that is indeed the number of banned users)

Apparantly you dont understand. There are a "few" members that "start" a problem. Then the other members that at the recieving end of the post, usually come back with somthing of their own.

I post the members and there examples, it gets deleted. The most recent was edgeman4.0 coming into my thread and posting "op is an idot" wich was deleted.

Stop deleting my posts of my examples, you must be affraid to let other members see what is really going on.

I know of the "few" members, who are always starting shit in threads. Those users are not banned.

not trying to start anything but as long as people have their own opinions about politics there will be fighting.... what's good for me and my family in my eyes..... may not be good for you and your family in your eyes.... now that being said if i were to post my views on things i'm pretty sure one or more people wouldnt agree with it and wether they mean to or not i may take offense to their comments about my views... banning the political threads just cuts down on what Tom and the Mods have to do in the forum... i'm sure they are busy in their personal life as well and dont want to spend every waking second of everyday on the forum policing every thread... i mean most of us are adults and should be able to conduct ourselves accordingly....

lol I really don't want to go back and copy/paste your previous arguments... so I'll just play along... No, they are not. You don't see all the problems.

I understand that you feel a few members start problems. What you fail to realize is that has nothing to do with the elimination of political threads.

This thread is not for complaining about other members. I've told you this numerous times. Creating a list of members and trying to create a list of all the bad they have done is not productive in any way and doesn't add anything to this conversation beyond just trying to bash those particular members.

I'm getting tired of telling you this, and you seem to keep ignoring it and trying to just repost the same irrelevant stuff over and over. Unfortunately it looks like you'll be temporarily banned since you're constantly ignoring the warnings to stop, the infraction to stop, and my posts to stop.

Ok Tom. I got a warning for "bashing members" in this thread. Then I went and took out the "bashing part" and then got 2 infractions for reposting it. Since then, I have had a few posts deleted, by your, or the mods. I have them all. I have several different pages pulled up thru out the night, that have not been refreshed. So they are there.
