I liked the design on the left with the truck on the front and the text on the back or vise versa. I would order two shirts and a hoodie... Just let me know a deff price with shipping. Id pay 15.00 a shirt, and 40.00 for a hoodie. Maybe we can get a deal if we buy 2 shirts we can get them at 23.00 And id buy a 40.00 hoodie. Imma start saving the pennies.

When I get shirt from Wal-Mart I get the Fruit of the Loom brand. IMO much better for maybe a dollar or 2 more. Ether way I am going to get shirts.
I'm looking at using Gildan t-shirts 100% preshrunk cotton, not the cheapest but the quality is good. I'm actually wearing one of these shirts right now.

Since we are a small forum we aren't going to be able to capitalize off of bulk ordering anyways so I can probably order individual shirts to be designed using any brand specified. In other words, if you want Fruit of the Loom, I can probably have your shirts made on Fruit of the Loom shirts.

$23 for 2 shirts? Not going to happen. Shipping alone will be a PITA.

Can you please do? The screen printers prefer adobe illustrator images. Also, please do the design without the text on the bottom. If you can work on designing something small for the front I would appreciate that too. Thank you!

yeah ill take the words out.

what format would they like the files saved in?

also i think someone mentioned it before but if were doing front and back with the big logo on the back we should just put the FRF and ford ranger forum on the front all small in the pocket area. but yeah. i can get you all an illustrator version pretty soon. shouldn't take me to long its a real easy design.

The Gildan shirt sounds fine. I will take what ever brand shirt you decide to order. For shipping couldn't we use just some padded envelopes or flat rate boxes? One shirt should fit in a small envelope and then for people with larger orders would have to go in larger envelopes. Again I don't know what the cheapest way to ship is, but I'm just throwing out ideas. Also Tom if you need any help with this send me a PM and I'll help out as much as possible.

Something like this:

You can use those priority 'bag' type envelopes. 2-3 day arrival time for approx a flat rate of 4.85 I think. You can stuff up to 6 tshirts in one. Ask me how I know. hahahahah.

I wasn't aware there were different formats, the ones I've talked to have either said "save it using adobe illustrator or as a pdf." So I guess whatever the default is? Then save a raw file if we need to change the extension.

The designs will need to be the same for the shirts & hoodies so whatever would look good.

Padded envelopes aren't cheap but since it's just soft clothing the envelope wouldn't even need to be padded anyways. Flat rat boxes are indeed an option.

I'll calculate the various options when the time comes, the flat rate options sound good if I can't find anything cheaper.

do you know the type of envelope baggy that I'm talking about? lol....hard to describe but it's like a waxy plasticy baggy. I've seen 'em at Office Depot too...which using those would cheapen the cost since it could go out first class = cheaper shipping. Might be worth it even with the variables in shipping costs compared to priority flat rate bags of the same type. A couple more days in transit is worth it in the savings to you and ultimately, us.

Yeah...those padded envelopes are not cheap!

Not a clue lol.

So I worked on Stephen's design a little, I think this flows better and has better balance... thoughts?

By the way, let's not forget that Turbo's friend is working on a design, so let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.

Tom -

I like it. Any design submitted to the t-shirt people would still need to be "vectorized", though, or there will be an additional artwork charge from the silkscreener (because they would need to spend a bit of their time rotoscoping the bitmap graphic to create a vector graphic version of it.)
