When you log in, you have to check the keep me logged in box. And you need to make sure your browser isn't automatically clearing cookies when you close.

Try checking the box, but it's not necessarily going to help. Ever since my last Firefox update, it kicks me out every time - even if I check the box. This happens to me on all forums, so it's not a FRF issue.

Good question. I've been too busy or lazy to do anything about it yet, but I was going to try either an older version of Firefox, or grab Firefox portable off my other computer or download it again.
I checked all the Firefox settings, and see no reason why it should be doing that. I thought maybe it was clearing the cookies every time I closed the browser, but it's not.

The settings are in the PRIVACY section of firefox. Just set it for "remember history".

For Firefox users: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_...config_Entries

http://www.computerworld.com/s/artic...f_about_config

Check out these two sites, they may or may not help.
If you want to see what is there before you go to the sites, type into the address bar:
about:config, and hit enter.

what version of firefox are you using? i think the newest version is 3.5.3, try updating to that if your not using that version, i have it and have no problems, had problems like your having before i updated.

Just make that setting in the privacy options. It doesn't matter what version of any browser you have. They all have a setting that will save or delete cookies when you close the browser. In Firefox, it is in the privacy settings. Just set it the right way like I said and it will work fine. And are you checking the box when you log in?

click the help menu and choose About Firefox, and it will have a number like 3.5.3 under the Firefox Logo
