Default Mobile App

Would be totally awesome... with the ability to upload pics from your phone. I'd contribute to that effort.

Tom has stated if anyone with the knowledge to create said app he would let them produce it. I think he said the last time this was brought up the he just didn't have the knowledge to create said app. But I may be wrong about the last part.

Tapatalk is already on this forum. The catch though is tapatalk requires individual users to purchase their app. And no, FRF doesn't get any kind of commission or kickback.

You would have to be a mad wizard to make an app like this. I wish I could do it. Im learning css now and that has me yelling and pulling my hair out as it is.

Another issue with the app idea is that Apple charges $100 to be create a developer account, which is required to submit apps. The android developer account costs $25. So $125 just to release an app... that doesn't factor in the cost or anything else of actually having an app developed.

That's too expensive for anybody on here really. Hey Tom is that for the whole year or is that the monthly fee to purchase that app?

That price has nothing to do with purchasing the app. It's the cost to be capable of making an app downloadable.

There's two steps:
Step 1: Make app
Step 2: Publish app

Those costs are for step 2.

An app would be neat, but if you have a smart phone, just go to the online site.

FTW.

OK thanks. I figured it would cost an arm and leg. I looked at an I-Pad at Best Buy and that damn thing that I looked at was more than my CPU. It was over $800 bucks. Getting published, and making the app would be too expensive. And if that wa just for step 2, I don't want know what it would cost to make an app.

I don't get what's wrong with Tapatalk. Its a nice prog. My only issue with it is that you can't zoom in on pics. I am sure they will update it soon enough.
