Well, really so far everyone actually agrees for the most part in that Libya thread. Surprising.

EXACTLY. That's the whole problem. It's like a fucking magnet for animosity. Flies in a bug zapper. I sit here saying how bad an idea it is to have political discussion on this truck forum. While in a second window on my split screen, I'm engaging in a political debate on the same truck forum.

That's exactly why the section should never exist here. Even those who don't want it and don't want to participate will be sucked in like black hole.

I voted no and also posted in the Lybia thread.

If the moderators are on top of it, more political questions could be put into off topic. As long as it doesn't get out of hand.

bad idea. two things that shouldnt be talked about here: politics and religion. we are all here to give ranger advice, help each other out, ask for help, and show off our sweet rides. not to debate each other

Well I like the idea. Personally I feel like people turn a blind eye to the issue. A good politcal talk is healthy. Instead, we have the left media brainwashing everyone into following the crowd. That is not a hit to any here, just in general

Exactly. You also get the guys who only listen to talk radio like Rush Limbaugh (I listen to him too, but I disregard most of the things he says since he is speaking out of arrogance) or only watch MSNBC (which I also watch, lol) and are completely biased and will not yield even when facts are thrown at their face because they are too ignorant.

I remember some heated discussions on "the other ranger forum" with you involved . I enjoyed reading all of those, lol.
