site idea

i was wondering what people thought of the idea of having a test page? maybe deleting the post after a week so it didn't take up valuable web space?
that way the users can test pic size or signature.

That's a good idea. Keep in mind though that unless you're starting a new thread (threads can be only be deleted my mods) you can always do a test post in any random thread and then immediately delete it. Also, using the "preview post" button will show you how the post will look to everyone else. I use that a lot.

i do the "preview post " allot 2 but I'm doing that sometimes when the lighting stinks and half afraid to hit the reply or post button

sounds good, nice idea but "preview post" does almost the same thing though
