Phone app for FRF?
I saw this somewhere before, but would it be possible to get an Android and iPhone app for FRF. Even setting it up for use with an app called Tapatalk on Droid (IDK if its for iPhone or not) would be nice. I know I would use it.

Re: Phone app for FRF?
Anyone know what the difference between the tapatalk app and installing a mobile layout would be?

Re: Phone app for FRF?
I believe supporting tapatalk would be as simple as signing up for it. Making a full on app would require much time and programming. Ill look into it more tomorrow (if I remember)

The thing I don't like about tapatalk is that to use most the forum features you (each individual forum member) needs to purchase their app.
I wasn't considering making an FRF specific app lol. We have a light layout, and the default dark layout (see my signature), I was thinking it might be possible to add a mobile layout that is geared for phone users.
Patrick, can you post or PM me which F-150 forum you are referring to? I would like to see what kind of setup they have.

However the more forums sign on, the more useful it is....right now two forums I use are on it...have I paid for the full app yet? No, waiting for a couple more to go online....
Just makes it easier to navigate...I can see the full site on my iphone just fine...just makes for easier navigation on smaller screens...

Re: Phone app for FRF?
Here are a couple benefits of Tapatalk Pro.
There is no bloat in the interface, so no adds or buttons that take time to load.
All your forums can be saved to the Favorites tab so that you can switch between different forums quickly and easily.
Pictures load quickly and when clicked, you can scroll through every pic without having to back out and click the next pic.
Links in threads are clickable.
They now have widgets that make it even easier to quickly hop onto said forums.
Tom, its free for you to incorporate Tapatalk as I am sure you know. Why not do it and see how many users utilize this tool? As I said before, out of all the forums I visit, this is the only one not using Tapatalk. It seems to have a nice following else ware.
