There are way more deserving people than me but im going to enter anyway. I am going to school full time and holding down a full time job. between school and work i am away from my family for 60 hours a week. times have been getting tough lately and sometimes i have to decide between putting gas in my truck or putting food on the table. i very rarely have enough to to maintenance on my truck. i would love to see my truck modded up, i just dont have the funds for it. winning a contest like this would mean the world to me.
Thanks, Tyler

I think my truck deserves to be in this contest because it is the only thing I have to remember my father by. Back in 2003 he died while living in Florida. I live in NY. My uncle drove down and handled everything. He was renting a house from an old lady who gave EVERYTHING of his away. My uncle got the truck. He offered it to me last year, and I flew out to Colorado and drove it back home. It is my second, but preferred vehicle. I love it to death and will own it until its dead. I am saving for a house, so I don't have any money to mod it. I am slowly restoring it within my tight budget. I would love to see this truck modded up. I think it would put a smile on my fathers face if he were still here.

I work full time and take classes online full time. I have spent some of my money on my truck so far, but what I don't need to pay my bills, my money goes back to my parents. They have always been there supporting me in no matter what I do and even letting me live at home for small rent, so I figured they've given me so much in the past, it was my turn to pay them back. With lack of spending money and free time, I haven't been able to mod my truck the way I want. I do have many plans for my truck. It's just gonna take time and a lot of saving. I know there are more deserving people out there besides me, but every little bit counts. Thanks again Bru for this opportunity, and to FRF. I'm gonna try to do my best to pay if forward (win or lose), because you never know what that little act of kindness can do for someone.

I guess this 10yr old daily driver deserves a shot. I plan to keep it and make a sweet ride someday, and hopefully get a fx4 n a few years... at the moment I'm reinventing my self, due to the economy, lost my job 18 months ago and cant seen to find another, so I'm a full time student.

I'm a full time college student/athlete. School is my priority and therefore I don't have the ability to apply for a job which would give me the money to upgrade my truck! I love my truck a ton, and everything I get goes into it! I have many goals for my truck and I can't wait to be able to achieve the mods that I have in plan!
I'll add a picture once this rains stops!

I'm a high school student. I have been trying for almost a year now to get a job, and with people my fathers age competing with me it makes things hard on a high school student that has to go to school during the week. I love my truck a lot. Why; my father gave me this truck and for him being a diehard GM fan to give me it means it MUST be good and the fact it's been in the family since the factory when my uncle bought it makes it mean that much more. Funds are extremely tight here at home and all I want to do is benefit the truck and make it the best it can be. Without a job and school a priority, it makes getting this truck project slower than a pinto on a 40 percent grade hill. This would DEFINITELY help me in getting the ball moving in this project.

Thank you for reading.
And with out further adue here is Ol' Blue.

My story:
I'm Poor.

I really can't say why MY truck should win a contest, unless it's a "you really need to paint that thing" or a "most in need of bird poop removal" contest.

Here's mine. I'm a student in HS attending Auto tech at a nearby Ormsby for half the day. I love working on stuff but I cant seem to find a job I've applied at a lot of places. I do a lot to my truck most being maintenance and repairs needed after I bought it.One of my dreams is to mod it but I don't have the money.

I'll make my story as short as possible: I am a Iranian and Gulf war veteran. I served onboard the USS Vincennes from 1988-1992. I lost my job of 16 years in 2008 due to medical issues. (Diabetes, Lymphedema, high blood pressure, obesity) I am now $36,000 in debt.
My truck does have a few mods, brush guard, driving lights, wheels, tire carrier.
If chosen, I'd like to have the money BRU would have spent on the Mod to be given to a veterans charity such as his local VFW.

I think this is worth a shot. I am 18 years old and just graduated high school a few weeks ago. I work full time at tsc in Bay Minette, AL. I am starting college in August at Faulkner State Community College. I don't have a whole lot of money for mods, due to saving money for school. I really love this website and the people on it. I have had a great time on it. I would also like to thank everyone for all the help I have gotten on here. It has been a lot of fun and help, thanks guys!

Hey their old timer, lol i really appreciate your post and sorry that you are having some difficulties, Don't worry about sending anything to the veterans charity as I am a participant and involved with the charities dealing with veterans, I am too a retired marine with 20 plus years, Could you put up a pic of your truck, You don't have too, but I really love seeing different pics of rangers. Thanks
