Bru, you just became one of my biggest heros, in the face of a tragic event, all you can do is pour out your generosity, good attitude, and smiles upon the rest of us...You are what every person should hope to be.

His money his desision. Its up to him to decied. hes already being generous enough to do this so who are we to question his choices. He seemed pretty set on his idea, thats why he requested no pm's. Im not trying to put anyone down or anything. Im just stating my view on the situation.

Bru I just wanted to THANKYOU for what you are doing.. Considering since I have been back from overseas I have seen so much negativity and disrespect from civilians and even from the military. After I was injured from the war and now I have blood clots in my lungs so I fear every night I go to sleep I might not be here tomarrow. I started to wonder why did I even fought for my country..And to be honest with you I used to go all out when it came to the holidays and now I cant even get into the mood this year since I have been back. But now that I have read your thread I have realized that there is actually some good people in this world and you have actually put a tear in my eye and for that it has been worth everything I have been thru with the war and more and you have brought back to me the Xmas spirit.. Again Bru thank you for what you are doing and I salute you bro..Also please BUMP (exclude)me from this contest I am proud to fight and die for my country without any hesitation..Nor do I want any sympathy I am just like everyone else in here..

Again Thank You!!

BRU,

I have a great idea. This is something the Administrator does on TinBoats net for contests and it can include everyone within contest rules like so many posts within month or just for subscribers etc.

When there is a contest like how you are talking about, he makes a thread and the ONLY response can be "IN" Then he uses the reply counts in the top right hand corner of each reply as their IN number. he uses the last IN reply number as the max and submits it in Random.com

The winner is the number he chooses!

So say this post was a 'IN" reply, i would be number 57. and say there were 100 people to reply, then you would put in 100 as the max number and hit generate and it will give you the random number and that person wins.

Thank you Delta for your above post, I know this to well when it comes to being treated like scum when serving our country, I served my country from 1976-2001; I served in the Marines and a jarhead for life, I sustained injuries to the point I almost got sent home and could have been deemed disabled; I survived and was able to retire as a E9, Let me say this, I don't know how old you are, But one things for sure as you get older you start to look back and see what good you have done, Do this for yourself; When you walk down the street and see that new business or here someone winning the lottery or see a mom or day sitting at a game watching their kid play baseball, even when you see families have food on the table " I want you to pat yourself on the back and know that because of your service to this country; it's the reason why so many of the above are able to enjoy these material and family memories, "And if you see a homeless person or a homeless Veteran" Remember it was not you who did this as you did your part; but it was no fault of yours and it's more of a Govermental issue.

I am proud to have served my country and I'm even more thankful to still bring a smile to many Folks lives, I don't know 99.9% of you folks on this board, But I love each of you dearly; I think I proved that when I enlisted in the military back in 1976, God Bless you all and Love and hold your love ones like today was the last and only day to do so.

P/s I will say this, oooooohhhhh rah! semper fi
