The cap adds a lot of bizarro reflections in the rear view mirror and even looking back, especially if the glass is dirty. Adding a backup camera IS a bit of work, but...

Just to confirm ... the back speakers are also 6x8? Should be an easy enough swap for some better drivers. Currently running the originals.

I replaced the door speakers...

Put new plugs in my 2.3 lima ...

They don't make that drivers side bank easy to get to, do they? At least it wasn't as bad as plugs on my Aurora 4.0 ...

Looked like OEM plugs with 60K miles on...

Checked the door sticker, and it lists an AXLE 84 code. Which according to the chart is an open 7.5", 2750 capacity, and 3.45 gear ratio.

Which I guess puts...

I wouldn't have expected issues with the spare either, but I see two of five listed hitches at eTrailer have a warning that a full size spare "might" not fit after installation ... whatever that...
