Re: Post pics of vehicle you've seen around! (V2.0)

In keeping with the theme,...

Re: "High Ryder Option w/ FX4 Bilstein Suspension"

There is no such thing as a so-called "high ryder" for ANY 98+.

Your Level II sits no different than an regular old 4x4 for your model year.....or any 98+ for that matter.

As for...

Re: Trucks for different markets

There is exactly ZERO related to the NA market Tacoma to the world market Hilux. Same with Frontier and Navara.

Much of it has to deal with our's different than the world market....

Re: Which years/models were pre-wired for cargo lights?

The only consistency is "up to '02". ALL 93+ Rangers up to '02 are pre-wired for cargo equipped third brake lights.....meaning buy a third from Ford or second hand with 3-bulb harness and it's a...

Re: Expo axle plus?

The problem with using Explorer springs on a Ranger is they lift the Ranger approx 2". Many people use them instead of lift blocks or in my case, I got rid of my add-a-leaf and got way better ride...

Re: Regear People, pattern help!

Looks better than before. Are you only adjusting the pinion? Or the carrier too? To me, it looks like the ring needs shifted away from the pinion ever so slightly.

What's the backlash looking...

Re: De-powered Steering Rack

You may be able to make a universal "street rod" aftermarket manual rack work. But for the cost, you're better off maintaining it and replacing the leaking 17 year old rack...

Especially if you...

You shouldn't cut the...

Re: axle not centered under bed?

I would confirm squareness of your bed to the frame. May as well also check the cab. Do that then go from there.

The differential is offset on the axle...meaning there is a left axle shaft and a...
