Slight "humming" noise driving '11 2.3l

When driving over 25MPH I started to notice a slight "humming" - It sounds kind of like off road tires but a little higher pitch. When I turn the wheel slightly to the right, it is more noticable and...

Re: Truck pulls to left and weird sound while braking

After some more research I believe it is the ABS brake sensor on my passenger side. Will get a new sensor and post back.

EDIT: Just pulled ABS fuse and brakes are working fine. Got to bed in my...

Truck pulls to left and weird sound while braking

Just replaced rotors and pads, bearings, and caliper slide pins. Closed it all up, and when I brake, I feel the pedal a bit "grainy" and makes a weird sound. Almost like a frog lol or one of the...

Re: Changed rotors/pads, Steering and car wobble.

What was the problem with the ABS? I replaced the shocks in 2018 - about 10k miles ago, along with upper/lower ball joints.

I am going to dive into this soon, regrease the caliper guide pins...

Re: Changed rotors/pads, Steering and car wobble.

Any recommendations for pads? Just replaced front rotors with OEM. I would rather replace the pads than the rotors, not that either are all that difficult.

Re: Changed rotors/pads, Steering and car wobble.

Ya I kept coming back to them being the culprit as well.

Could it be the rear ones? The seats wobble during this deceleration as well.

Changed rotors/pads, Steering and car wobble.

About 15k miles ago - I changed the rotors, wheel bearings, and pads on the front brakes of my 2011 2WD Reg Cab 5-speed 2.3l Ranger. It had a bit of a wobble when braking from 30-40MPH (or 40-30...

Re: How many miles do you have on your Ranger?

Just rolled past 150,000 on my 2011 2.3L 5-speed.

Just did front brake job with rotors. About to change tranny fluid and do spark plugs. Scared to do plugs since it has been so long and truck has...

Re: Anything close to Ranger reliability?

Thanks. I get that, but from my understanding deboring a previous engine doesn't seem like a new engine. Only difference that I understand aside from deboring it to 3.3l from 3.5l would be addition...

Re: Anything close to Ranger reliability?

Yes, that 3.3 engine has my attention. Not many on fuelly. Anything that leads you to believe they would be reliable? I know the 3.3 is a debored version of the previous na 3.5, which was a debored...

Anything close to Ranger reliability?

I am just seeing what some of you thought were some engines/models that are as reliable to the Ranger.

For reference, I have 2011 XL 2.3 Reg Cab 5-speed. Bought 3 years ago with 34k miles on it -...

Re: 2011 2WD XL Rear Wheel Bearing Question

Great news. Thanks a ton. I had a hunch since they were not part of the disc assembly/hub.

2011 2WD XL Rear Wheel Bearing Question

Sorry if this has been answered but I couldnt find anything concrete. Most info is from older model with drum rears, or 4x4 with unit hub bearing.
