I missed that part, the only other thing I can think of would be to check the cam timing because if the valves don't open at the right time it can do that, recessed valves usually cause a rough idle...

It's not the fuel injectors, check the running fuel pressure and if you haven't change the fuel filter, won't hurt to get some MAF sensor cleaner and clean that up.
