that's odd. the speedo symptoms you mention are exactly what a failing vss will do on the rear differential. i'm pretty sure your 2.5 lima rwd has a vss on the rear diff.

hi Bob! this reminds me of my 'mystery windshield wiper' problem - the wipers would come on for no reason at all just randomly. I hates it cause people riding with me would think i'm crazy haha!...

It might be that the door ajar light on the dash is out and the dome lights are turned off and the door switch is not working.

Welcome to the forum! it could be something as simple as the seat belt connector or harness under the seat is messed up & the light on the dash has burned out. I'd like to know myself what it is...

welcome to the forum! I'd say first to run the vin number - i believe that should solve the question of what your truck came with from the factory. I am kinda surprised that the door sticker says...

true, it's often just dirty/corroded contacts on the harness connectors. Could also be a few grounds that have bad contact. Hope you get lucky and find them quick!

easiest way to tell if it's bad is to check for codes related to either the egr or dpfe. they usually look something like p0403, 1401, 1405, 0401, etc... if you have either a pending or stored...

and it looks stock too! if you need to take it off for some reason, watch out on the electrical connector and where the hoses connect, they might break easily. It's probably gone through thousands...

hmmm line a crimped connection? i could see that. or you mean hose diameter? i'd imagine larger than a p/s line.
