No. Cummins documentation says the R 2.8 is not designed for any specific vehicle/ transmission, etc. and its the responsibility of the owner to determine the suitability for and installation...

I had an Optima Yellowtop that didn't last 3 years. Never again. The cheap Wal-Mart battery i'm replacing now has lasted longer than the Optima.

Thx for the replies, but I found the culprit.

At someones suggestion, I clamped off the flexible lines at the calipers. Got good pedal after doing this. Pulled the wheels, calipers and rotors...

Using a vacuum tool to test things, I've found the rear calipers are not holding a vacuum (front ones are as they should be) which indicates lack of a tight connection somewhere from the splitter...
