I know the 93-97 4.0L would come with the 3.08 gear and with the stock tire size netted an average of 335-350 MPG if I drove it nice. but the hp & tq curve is far better with that gear and made...

The owners manual has a fuse layout but it could also be a relay in the underhood box too.

You didnt mention which engine so that will alter the configurations some for the requested info you seek.

If it were me, Id run similar walled aluminum sq stock where you need it to mount much like the original setup and drill through both sides (top/bottom) and bolt through the beams much like a factory...

I'd say depending on what you're hauling, how often, do the loads very or is it a consistent haul [work related perhaps ?] I would still consider the upgraded springs, but thats just me. I will agree...

Helper springs are for payload capacity, not leaf spring crutches so in your thinking, truly they are a moot point.

Personally, the work is the same just about only thing you may save is half of the cost of two springs even if OEM replacements with the Hella kit and which you could probably even beat that buy...

Problem is the Cummins 2.8R is ONLY made for the JEEP at this point.. Looked into it already with my connections there.. Was sadly disappointed in hearing with as much hype as they made about that...
