Re: Cruise Control Not working, Speed Control Light blinking

Did the old switches function? If so, you can just plug them back in to at quickly confirm if the issue is in the new equipment you installed.

Re: 4X4 Light on all the time

Hang on - why is the dealer replacing the PCM? Not purely because of that one code, right?

Re: 4.56 years, 35" tires, and a 5.0?

Sounds absolutely perfect to me. I wish I had 4.56 gears!

Re: up grade late model v6

Nothing that will bolt directly. The simplest option is to swap in a 5. 0 from an Explorer, but you'll be dealing with transmission, etc.

Re: Oil and Type A/C Compressor 1992 Ranger

Re: Oil and Type A/C Compressor 1992 Ranger

I understand that it's been replaced, I'm just wondering what was run in the compressor before.

You even replaced the evaporator?

Re: Oil and Type A/C Compressor 1992 Ranger

Has it previously been converted to R134 or are you just doing that now?

Re: need help figuring out year

Wheel bearings should be easy to confirm based on visual ID of the axle. The diff cover should have a tag under one of the bolts. Write down what you see there.

Not sure on the rest. Is the...

Re: front drive unit

The vacuum hubs aren't working, you mean? Have you chased the vacuum lines back to the unit that controls them near the passenger front wheel?

Re: Ford Ranger Returning in 2019

I've never felt cramped in the Ranger, and most of mine have gotten 22 or so on the highway. Not counting the 3.0 I yanked because the heads were bad and had almost zero compression, of course. ...

Re: Mass Airflow Sensor 2000 3.0 FFV V6
