Re: LED bulb replacement
A solid state flasher is definitely the better fix here. You may even find them on the shelf at your local chain auto parts store.

Re: 2019 Ranger Thoughts from NAIAS Trip
I'm not a huge fan of the high belt line trend either. The truck in general appears to be a good platform if they can square away some of the details.

I'd be curious to see the 265 door tag as well. Didn't realize they were ever that large from the factory except the FX4's.

Re: 2019 ranger info from motor trend
Logan tried to quote Brad but the quote tags got screwed up, so it looked like Logan was planning to supercharge his '11 rather than referring to Brad's statement.

Re: 2019 Ranger Thoughts from NAIAS Trip
The sticker at the base of the transmission sign is really interesting. Did somebody just typo the 3.5 bit in, or at one point was a 3.5 being planned for the Ranger and they dropped it down to the...

Re: 2019 ranger info from motor trend
For what it's worth, the reason you couldn't sit in it was that it was an incomplete truck (both the crew cab and the supercab they had on display). Fiberglass body, alternate frame and suspension,...

Re: FRF Watercooler/BS Thread 2017
Well there's at least you and me. To be fair, I spend the vast majority of my forum time at one of the other Ranger areas, but I'd hate to see this one just wither. There's a lot of good content...

Re: Cleaning out the garage
FYI, I'm still interested in a 4x2 bezel with the fog light button if you run across one. The V8 swap is underway with a manual shift transfer case, so the switch is about to be meaningless. Thanks!

If you run OEM wheels from a Ranger you'd have to modify absolutely nothing.

Have you considered sourcing a set of used 15" wheels? $225 per tire is insane for a small tire like that.

Re: 1997 mountaineer 5.0 to 2002 ranger
I can't remember if the crossmember is the same, but as long as you have the complete Mountaineer then the worst case is using the transmission crossmember that's installed behind the 5.0.

No need to swap both axles, just make sure the gearing is the same in your donor axle.
The Explorer axle will be spring under, so you'll have to move spring perches and shock mounts. RuffStuff...
