Hard start issue...thoughts?

I noticed this about 7-10 days ago on my 2000 XLT 3.0L. Initially I could hear that it was slightly slower to crank over...and each day it seems to be worse with this morning it barely catching. ...

On my '00 XLT there is a blank open area next to the spot where the passenger-side airbag on/off switch is. My understanding is that this area is where the ashtray would be if my Ranger had come...

Lowes can make a key for your Ranger. I just had them make a 2nd one for my 2000 XLT and it works great. Cost me $75 though. :toilet: But smart insurance instead of calling a locksmith. ;)
