Would love to see how you did this! I have to mess around with the radio i messed up to see if i can get the cd player functioning again, i think one of the pins i tried to solder to got pulled up....

yeah i ruined my cd player and had to go get a new one from the junkyard....this is NOT a simple task, the solder points are tiny!!

This is the style radio i have...now that you explain it the pins dont seem nearly as confusing! Its just the way you said it before i thought i was soldering to pins 1-7.

Skylark65, yeah that is another viable option. The car that i upgraded from before my truck used a cassete auxiliary cord....so i'd prefer to install the aux input into my dash, i've read the link...
