Re: What is it?

Yep. Have one on my 02 Edge, which is the same as the newer Sport trim level.

Re: Gearing issues

Well no one really spends the money to re-gear the 7.5 anyway. Usually they will upgrade to the 8.8 first so there is little talk of gearing options for the 7.5.

Re: Gearing issues

Several manufacturers produce 4.56 ring and pinion sets for the Ford 7.5". I went with 'Yukon' personally. Re-gearing is something best left to the professionals unless you know what you are doing,...

Re: lift kit question 02 2wd ranger edge

You are wanting an additional 3" in the rear then. I would do lift shackles (set at the 1" mark) and a 2" short add-a-leaf. If you are dead set on keeping the added block stacked on the factory...

Re: How to remove flareside panels??

Fuel filler neck is a different length from what I hear. Other than what you already mentioned it will bolt up no problem.

Re: lift kit question 02 2wd ranger edge

In my opinion 4" spindles are fine. WheelsNParts/Maxtrac are the best bang for the buck. The biggest problem you will run into with them is that at full lock (the steering wheel turned fully to the...

Re: Help...

60/40 mod. Did this in my 02 and installed an explorer console. One of my favorite mods. Not my video but should explain the process.

Re: lift kit question 02 2wd ranger edge

New front shocks are not required with lift spindles. A lift spindle only lowers the "hub" 3-4" while the rest of your suspension components remains in factory configuration.

Re: lift kit question 02 2wd ranger edge

Your XLT sits about 2" lower than his but your coil spacers do help make up the difference.

Personally, I would not stack blocks. Axle wrap can become and issue and if you blocks are...

Re: gas mileage help

Your driving habits will be a huge factor. If it was me I'd fill up every 200 miles or so just to be sure.

Re: Anyone Have These Or Similar Step Bars?

Any thoughts on trying to find a set of OEM regular cab bars? I think they look pretty good myself.

Re: Put a camper top on my truck

I had one on my truck made by Vista, or something along those lines. The side windows did not flip out but the one closest to the cab did fold down. Found it on craigslist down towards Charlotte. ...

Re: Good sounding exhaust

Yep. Heck, even I have a crappy exhaust video up there that I need to re-do at some point. "Good sounding" is subjective so checking there is probably your best bet.

I've had a Flowmaster 40...

Re: 2002 4x4 Lowering

Should be fine.

Last sets I bought were from RockAuto. Can't remember what they cost me but certainly less than $75 total.

Re: Larger wheels and lift kit

Since you are 4wd your truck is around 2" taller than his already. OP will need more than a body lift to clear 33's.

OP, look into spindles as well.

Re: 98-01 Body Lift in a 2008 Ranger?

Number of bed bolts may differ. My 02 has 6 and I think newer trucks have a few more. Other than that above is correct, same kit.

Re: header question

Your 94 has the older 4.0L OHV not the newer 4.0L SOHC. The SOHC (single overhead cam) was available in 98+ Explorers and 01+ Rangers. Those will not fit your truck.

Re: How much lift do i have?

Yeah but it is easier for you to crawl over stuff. I had to buy a whole other vehicle for that.

Re: How much lift do i have?

They probably saw your factory block (2.5") in the rear and added that to the 3" body lift. Technically you are about 6" taller than a 2wd XL/XLT (they have coil springs). The 2wd trucks are so...

Re: Need advice on shocks.

Your truck has a 3" body lift installed. Your suspension has not been touched. Factory length shocks are what you would need. Single cab Edge trucks have a short wheel base, torsion bars up front,...
