Re: Instant intense wobble- camber off??

By adding the bolts you might have messed up the toe as well on the side with the adjustable. Good idea of taking them out and replacing them. That's all I can guess. You could also check to make...

Re: 2000 2WD 3.0- Beginners Build

Well, what do you think of her situation? Did she get screwed, or is camber not included on a 2 wheel alignment?

Re: 2000 2WD 3.0- Beginners Build

Did you get the 4 wheel or 2 wheel alignment? If you got the 2 wheel, that may be the reason

Re: 2000 2WD 3.0- Beginners Build

Sounds like you need to find a new alignment shop...or maybe that's normal, and in Small Town, Tx (not really a city I don't think, just saying small towns here in general) that's just included

...

Re: 2000 2WD 3.0- Beginners Build

Looks sick!

These are the camber bolts he's talking about. They go in place of the Upper Control Arm bolts. Need 4 bolts total. I need them, and my camber isn't too bad and the inside of my tires...

Re: 2000 2WD 3.0- Beginners Build

Metal work is pretty easy, just measure, measure, and measure again. Welding is pretty easy once you do it once or twice, but takes practice to get some great beads.

Re: 2000 2WD 3.0- Beginners Build

I would keep the parts that are usable, namely the spindle just in case something catastrophic happens like in a freak accident the spindle breaks you won't be up shit creek without a paddle.

Re: M5OD-R1 or M5OD-R1-HD

You most likely have the R1..thats what I have in mine, and I think that's the only one that the 2.3l came with

Looks pretty good! Did you paint the control arm and spindle or did it come like that?

Re: Are either of these lift kits worth it for my 2000 2wd? New to the lift game.

In my opinion the simpler install would be shackles. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you need longer bolts for the lift blocks...again, not sure. The spindles are literally 4 bolts, two for each...

Re: 2000 2WD 3.0- Beginners Build

You mentioned the lift components are coming in today, are you going to install them or wait? I like the simplicity of your build, I'm excited to see what the lift looks like. They always drastically...

Re: Are either of these lift kits worth it for my 2000 2wd? New to the lift game.

I completely agree with you, I just personally don't like blocks. I actually didn't know Ford used them even, so if they do it's probably pretty safe. I guess the ones I've seen are mainly like...

Re: Are either of these lift kits worth it for my 2000 2wd? New to the lift game.

Easiest way up front would be lift spindles. Retains factory shock size, coil size, upper control arms, everything..literally the only thing a spindle replaces is the spindle itself. Yes, after any...

Re: What size tire do you ride?

235/75r15s on 15x8. No lift, possibly lowered like an inch in front or saggy coils. Rear lowered 2" by drop shackles. Only rub at full driver lock and it hits the plastic on the inner fender that...

Re: 460 swap?

I know I know I'm indecisive as shit, and asking a lot of questions. Would the 2.3l turbo out of the new mustang bolt right up? I figured they would since they're probably the same thing more or less...

Re: 460 swap?

Okay, here's the plan:

1) Do the 5.0 swap, t56 6speed. See how I like it, mod it. If I don't like it then

2) do the 460 swap, manual trans. If I don't like it, and don't like the 5.0, sell it

Re: 460 swap?

After continued research, someone put a 460 in there s (it's a 92 so idk if the engine bay dimensions are the same, will be back with more info) but he had to do some frame modification, which leads...

Re: 460 swap?

There's no replacement for displacement. I'm thinking BIG power, striker kit, possibly turbo (idk if I want to keep it n/a). I've read up on the 5.0 and the 4.6 and if I was going to do either it...
