IMHO, a lot of pre-workout supplements are just caffeine based. Caffeine is very cheap... I would just vote to pop a caffeine pill or something before working out instead of buying a pre-workout...

Protein shakes are just a supplement. Real food is often cheaper and better.

Most your protein should come from real food. Eggs & meats are the most common protein sources.

I would reckon that the majority of gym injuries are from people lifting more weight than they should thus using sloppy form.

Don't worry about lifting a light weight, everyone...

Set a goal of how many reps you want to do (usually somewhere around 5 - 12). IMHO, you should be border line failing your last couple reps, especially your last set. If you're not, put on more...

I had a passion for a while. Bulked up quite a bit then leaned out... then became more work orientated and kinda went the wrong way.

Trying to get back into things though... worked out every day...
