Re: Fresh Air is Refridgerated

Just like in any passenger car or pickup truck made for the past 30 years, the functions that defrost/defog the windows, will call for the a/c compressor to cycle.

Re: 2019 Ranger configurator

I wash my trucks every 3 months whether they need it or not.
I would never allow the seats or headliner to be damaged.
I don't allow eating, drinking, smoking or farting in my pickups.
My...

Re: 2019 Ranger configurator

The Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon extended cabs are quite pricey, so Ford will be in $25,000+ neighborhood.

Re: Source for Rubber bed mat

I put a heavy bed mat in both my F150s and paid $95 for each plus tax.
There are lightweight ones for less, but the local Leer store had the better ones.
These mats are HEAVY!!!!
If you use the...

Re: Source for Rubber bed mat

You don't have any auto parts or truck accessory stores near you?
It'll cost you between $80-$100.
I don't know if millennials realize it but there are more ways to buy stuff than online.

Re: Oil and Type A/C Compressor 1992 Ranger

Most forum users just want to go the cheapest route, so I put it out there.

Re: Need help with new Firestone tires

Keeping tires past 7 years is asking for trouble. It has nothing to do with your vibration problem, but any tire will start dry rotting past 8 years.
Michelin tires all OK and replace...

Re: Ford Focus Small Truck

My 2015 F150 with the standard 3.5 TIVCT gets the same overall fuel economy as the 2007 2.3L Ranger supercab I formerly owned.
Not bad considering the F150 weighs 1400 lbs more. LOL.

Re: Ford Focus Small Truck

Ford discontinued the Ranger because it just wasn't selling enough of them to be financially feasible. If $4000 rebates and dealer discounts on a $23,000 vehicle aren't enough to sell them, it's...

Re: 2002 purchase-battery cable routing

Since the starter and battery are on the drivers side, I can't imagine why the wire runs under the transmission.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
