The 2.5L is a 1986 and is Carbureted, so only electronics it has is wiring for gauges and ignition. And "pooter" as in computer? or Exhaust? thats a new term for me :P

Re: 3.0L v6 Bogging Down BAD -- Need help!

Re: 3.0L v6 Bogging Down BAD -- Need help!

Rather not.
I got a C 305, 302, two 4BTs, and two 5.4s.

Id rather take the time and money to put one of those in.
I dont see any gain in fixing a 3.slow.

Theyre on tight, I also cleaned the terminals last week.

The battery has bad cells, 10.3 Volts when the truck is off, but 14 volts when the truck is on.

Re: 3.0L v6 Bogging Down BAD -- Need help!

Forgot to add that we checked the fuel pressure this afternoon, it is around 54 PSI. The manual says it should be between 48-65 I believe.

Should I still check the fuel pump?
