Re: 3.27 gear in a 7.5" open rear end?

I would stick with the 3.73....that is if you want that little 2.3 to have any power at all.
The 235/75/15s tires have already robbed enough power over the stock sized tires.
Your fuel economy...

Re: Oil gauge?

The oil gauge is worthless so I wouldn't get concerned. You are right....if the oil pressure was actually an issue there would be more signs than just a low "idiot gauge" reading.

Re: How bad is this rust?

[QUOTE=Revtach;2745257]If you're really from Golden, CO, then how did rust get on any vehicle there in the first place?

Re: "Real" Dual Exhaust ?

Go to you tube and search. I am not impressed by any of the 3.0 and 4.0 Rangers with custom exhausts.....they all sound ricey to a certain degree. Don't waste your time, unless that is what you...

Re: Oil gauge?

Replace the pressure sensor first since that is the easiest.......if that doesn't fix the problem then the gauge cluster is the problem.

Re: upper control arm...

Since you didn't even know how to use the day/night switch on a rear view mirror......it would be a good idea to have this done by a pro.

Re: Air bag light

Ford will tell you to install a stock seat, and then they will install the air bag.......not before for liability reasons.

Re: sick and tired of vibrations.

Pretty desperate to go to mexico for a tire balance. Tires are out of round when new, they don't become out of round.
The wheels could be the issue, I have seen that before.

Re: Ridiculous dealer offer for my 06 Ranger Sport

Without seeing your truck no one can tell you if it's a lowball offer or not.
13 tear old truck with 9800 miles tells the dealer that the truck has been sitting around and that can be WAY worse on...

If you can't stand the heat, quit asking moronic questions like these.
Are these the posts that you call helpful? If you need to drive a small pickup over 90 mph, then it's time to grow up boy.

Re: Get better mpg with A/T tires

Putting larger, heavier, tires on a pickup and then wondering why the fuel economy dropped qualifies you for the "Here's Your Sign" award.
The larger circumference will throw the speedo and...

Re: Any productions numbers for GT, Splash, Thunderbolt, Tremor models?

The GT is no big deal and is just trim.
The Thunderbolt is a ghetto version of a 4.0 Ranger supercab...it has a 4.0 with 10-20 HP more than a regular 4.0.
Tremor is just a Ranger with a big radio...

$2500 low end to paint a regular cab Ranger is high....high....high end.
If a body shop told me $4500-$5000 then I would assume they just didn't want to do the job, or they were hitting the Jim...

Re: Painting Cost

The cost of painting the whole truck, including minor body work and proper prep work should be $1500-$2000....maybe more.
That's the cost by a professional shop and not paint can bubba.
