Re: Fog light Valance

I would imagine that the bumper is the same so it would fit. But to be sure, go to a site like rockauto.com and look to see if there differing bumpers available for your truck.

Re: How many miles do you have on your Ranger?

For headlight upgrade I'd strongly recommend an HID retrofit like from theretrofitsource.com. If it doesn't seem like something you can do, a member here does them. Here is his thread...

Re: E brake sticks after rain

I have had this happen on my '07. With recently replaced shoes, and new parking brake cable on it. The cable replacement was from something else. What I have heard is simply that it is the organic...

Re: 2006 Ford Ranger

P0174 is a lean code. It certainly could have something to do with not starting. Check for vacuum leaks? Check fuel pressure?

Re: still no 4x4 working

I might have slowed down and done some diagnosing before throwing parts at it. You have the vacuum hubs if I am remembering correctly. And they can be very troublesome. I would have gone there...

Welcome. Sounds like you have a solid plan so far. As for ideas, well, they would be what we might do. Let's hear what YOU want to do! I think it would be awesome to hear if you have questions on...

Re: What battery?

I put an Optima Redtop for $140 in my Ranger when the stock died 2 years ago. Works fine, even after sitting for up to a month, and in Colorado cold. But I have bought from AutoZone before too,...

Re: Any thoughts on Rangers vs Nissan D21 (Hardbody)

I hadn't heard about Nissan's having that issue, but Toyota did. They had a huge recall of Tacoma's due to cheap metal in frames, rusting and trucks folding in half. YouTube videos of it are pretty...

Re: Bought a lightbar

Re: 4.0 gas mileage

The 'chips' and 'cold air induction' setups will lighten your wallet is all. They will not boost performance. The Ranger already has cold air induction from the factory, drawing air in behind the...

Re: Gas tank question

That is what most people do from what I have heard. Usually it is to gain access to the fuel pump I understand, but the principle is the same. If you don't have a hoist, 2 people can pick it up and...
