Re: Towing a 2011 Ranger with a motorhome

This is a bit late but I have the same situation with an '04 4x4 Ranger. Do a search for "Shiftser". It's a manual replacement for the "shift-on-fly" motor. You remove the ESOF motor, install this...

Re: Rough Idle, Flashing CEL - Testing Coils and Wires

Fuel filter getting dirty over time, as opposed to filling the tank with bad gas, will start by reducing power under load -not at idle.

Opps. I see you changed a rusty filler neck, you may need to...

Re: Intake swap, engine light on

Pre '96 IIRC is OBD, sometimes called OBD I. That's why we now have OBD II.

The "koer" & koeo" refers to "key on, engine running and key on, engine off.

A reader for OBD is sorta expensive and...

Re: Help - my '08 needs 2 new cylinder heads???

I've seen this several times, actually the three basic requirements are:

1. Fuel
2. Air
3. Spark

If your engine won't start these are what you check for, compression would be later...

Re: Help - my '08 needs 2 new cylinder heads???

This is a very well know problem with the '03-'05 3 L Vulcan engine. Maybe Ford had the soft heads beyond those three years. The Ford tsb to replace both cylinder heads only pertains to those...

Re: burger king robbery foiled

Unfortunately he may get fired. Employees in the past that have resisted are made an example of.

I agree he should get some reward for quick thinking but after losing their car they might have...

Re: 98 ranger tranny swap

Does your radiator have a transmission cooler section in the bottom?

Would you have to change the steering column to get the transmission shifter?

How about the gauge cluster, you need one for...
