You don't have the cluster bolted up do you? If I can remember correctly all I did was lift my cluster up wards and slip the gear box in it. Don't loosen up the cables or anything because it's a PITA...

If you are going to paint the back of the overlays a different color, than yes you would have to sand it off and paint it, then install LEDs. If you just want the stock color look but brighter, then...

The bulb is just a bulb. It's probably loose or maybe a short somewhere that could cause it to throw out a code.

No not at all! Hot spots is what you get when using LED's. LED plug in's does not scatter the light out through the cluster evenly so as a result, you will get brighter spots in certain places on the...

The LED bulbs you can find on eBay or SuperBrightLED.com. There the same bulb size only LED. I used LED strips instead of the bulbs and ran them inside my cluster and solder them into the black caps...

I bought LED bulbs and they fit just right. They are even replacements of the 194 bulbs. But then I really got down to it and fully customizing it by doing LED strips in em. So yeah

You have to take the cluster out (hopefully you know how to do it). Now the clusters for the rangers take the 194 bulbs. Just unscrew the black knobs behind the cluster and switch out the bulbs....
