I ordered a code reader. It will be here next week. OBD I not available at the local parts store. Thinking that the codes will point me in the correct direction.

Also thinking about the throttle sensor. If not responding to the change in throttle position it would not direct the PCM to increase fuel rate. Thoughts?

Also. If your have a manual trans get a donor that is a manual, if you have a auto get an auto donor.

There is a thermal limiter in the resistor pack that will open up if it gets over heated. It prevents any speed except high. Change the resistor pack. The air that "barely comes out" is ram air.

I just swapped in a 4.0L engine into my 86 Bronco II. The engine has a rough idle. When I try to accelerate it has no power. Can't even get it in second gear. Checked for vacuum leaks. None found....

Skipper Bry here. Have a Bronco II that I work on all the time. So much that my wife has nicknamed it the "beloved". Just put in a 4.0L engine and need assistance on this engine.
