Re: 4x4 front left wheel issue

X2. Are you on dry pavement? Sounds like somethings binding up. If youíre not trying to use 4wd on dry pavement, i would assume itís a cv issue.

Re: custom rear utility bumper

Like Undrstm8ed said, I would just make new mounts. The factory mounts arenít the beefiest things in the world anyway.

Iím also in the process of making a rear bumper/tire carrier. Iím using...

Re: New rear leafs

Expo leaf springs have a slightly higher payload rating than the stiffest stock ranger springs. I would imagine they would suit your needs.

As far as year/model explorer, any 4-door Explorer...

Re: Full length Explorer Center console Swap

Any 2nd gen Explorer (95-01). The console in my truck came out of a 99 I believe.

Iíve also seen guys use the 3rd gen consoles (2002-2005), But these require a little more imagination to...

Re: SAS 2001 Ranger Edge 4WD

Honestly, you best bet is to start reading build threads. A SAS is a completely custom endeavor, but other peopleís build can be sort of like guidelines.

There are a few good SAS build in the...

Re: Twisted T-Bars causin Wheel bearing to constantly go...

Ford factory bars, door jamb code ď1Ē. These had the highest spring rate. Iím not aware of any aftermarket options.

You can get new ones through a ford dealer, or used ones from a salvage...

Re: Twisted T-Bars causin Wheel bearing to constantly go...

The hub assembly is pretty easy to replace. The bearing assembly itself is only held in by three bolts and the nut on the end of the CV. You just need to take the caliper and caliper bracket off to...

Re: Mini Spool in 8.8?

That doesnít really say what you want to do with the truck. Do you want to wheel it? Take it to the track? Do burn outs in empty parking lots?

Re: 2001 4wd edge lift options?

Factory #1 bars and stock 1998-2007 keys will get you the most ďliftĒ you can safely get out of factory suspension. It will also give you the firmest ride.

Re: Mini Spool in 8.8?

What are your plans for the truck? Is it a daily driver? Weekend warrior? Offroad use only?

If it sees any measurable street time, I️ donít think Iíd want to put a spool in it. Thatís...

Re: 2001 4wd edge lift options?

Thereís not really anything wrong a body lift. Plenty of guys have run them with out issue.

I️ would NOT recommend aftermarket torsion keys. They give the potential to push the front suspension...

Re: 2001 4wd edge lift options?

Your options are pretty limited. In fact, there are really only 3:

-torsion bar crank
Free (plus cost of alignment), good for ~1.5Ē of lift. However, since your torsion bars are worn,...

Re: Floor Pan Replacements?

As far as I️ know, there arenít any pre-made patch panels for the floor pans. I️ made my own out of 18 gauge sheet metal. There are some pictures of it in my build thread. It wasnít incredibly...

Re: Rear lift on superlifted truck

The axle is shifted forward because of the longer shackles. Going back to a stock shackle should center the axle.

To make up the difference in height, you can do a lift block, add leafs to your...

Re: Axle half-Shaft upgrades front & rear...

Pretty much. Lol.

I would think an 8.8 would be plenty strong enough. Plus, thereís a pretty decent aftermarket for them.

As far as the TTB, I have no clue beyond the d35.

Iím also...
