look at the fuse box in the right side kick panel, see if that got wet. I doubt they are related

just had a 2009 flex in the shop here..3.5 NA, water pump crapped out and puked antifreeze into the crankcase and the customer kept driving it..smoked the motor

IF ford makes the 3.0 diesel available in more than just the Lariat and above trim... I might go diesel in my next truck if they pan out to be somewhat reliable. Still not sure about the whole Land...

sounds like where I work. We are in between a cornfield and a dairy farm(smells wonderful when the farmer stirs the pit). I don't have to sit in traffic either. 12 mile drive all 2 lane highway 40-55...

ouch im sure that felt fantastic. those 3.0 alternators are in an ignorant spot. also sounds like every other 3.0..puking oil from every possible orifice

are they just warm or hot? on a normal system the upper hose should be hot enough where you can't keep your hand on it. I would pick up a cheap infrared thermometer to check it. Normal operating temp...

one is for the PCM other is for the gauge

they are the same, one sensor is a sending unit for the gauge in the truck, the other one is a sensor for the PCM that tells it when it can enter closed...

not really, either Monroe or KYB. I can tell you the motorcraft ones have a 2 year warranty on them. Not sure on the aftermarket ones
