Re: 2007 ranger max tire size

I'm sorry to sound like a retard being a Ranger owner, but I don't know much about mid-sized trucks lol. What the hell does level 2 mean?! :)

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Well those MT's I posted are 15x8's. I currently have 235/75r15 BFG Long Trail's, they don't look bad & have a good amount of tread left but when I order the new rims I'm going to get new tires as...

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Thank you for explaining that lol I was getting frustrated trying to figure that out between different rims. So I think I'm doing the MT's 15x8, but how wide of a tire should I put on it if I'm doing...

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Ahhh I'm so confused. The Mickey Thompson's I posted, would those be tucked more or stick out more?

& Slick, I want to get one eventually. Is there a specific one for Rangers/years or just...

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

I really like these, but how wide would I go on the tires since they are 8in wide? Or should I go with a 10in wide rim?
...

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Oh I didn't know there was a rim that did that... I wonder if XD's come with backspacing.

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

I was contemplating spacers but does that effect the ball joints or anything?

That stripe you got on the bottom, is that Line-X or powder coated or something? Or did you have it...

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Damn, Slick that looks good! I might have to do that. Do you have alloy wheels or steel? & did your front bumper come with the front license plate thing? Mine doesn't have it ):

I can't decide...

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Hmmm, lol you guys are throwing a lot at me to think about.

I think I should go 32's with black 17x9 inch rims (leaning towards XD's or some kind of alloy), but what's the BEST way to raise it...

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

So if I do crank them & say I do it too much, it can be undone, right?
Where do I get the tools for that? & do I need to put my truck on a jack to do it?

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Well then I guess my mind is made up lol. How big of a lift should I do to clear 31's?

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

I've heard that cranking your torsion bars puts tension on your truck & makes it a rougher ride?

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Yeah I planned on at least 15 no bigger than 17, but I like how yours looks. I hate how at stock height the front is so much lower than the back. Would a leveling kit be sufficient or should I just...

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Oooh okay, so should I go with like 31's? I don't want them to look too skinny since I have the fender flares so I definitely want something wide.
& thanks to everyone so far :)

Re: Advice on rims/tires size with lift

Well money isn't an issue so I'm willing to do what I have to for it to look amazing :) But as far as body lifts, I've seen a lot around town that just look ridiculous! Is there a certain way to go...

Lightbulb Advice on rims/tires size with lift

I recently bought an 06 Ford Ranger Sport (3.0L) & I'm looking into lifting it, as well as buying new rims & tires. It's my first truck so I don't want to go too big, but I want it to be one of those...
