OK, so turns out I didnt need the mounting kit... It was a direct drop in... Snapped right in and it's nice and secure

Thanks, according to autozones website they have the installation kit in stock so I'm gonna head over threre today and see... What is the threads in the Middle of the back for, is it a ground?

Any idea on a part number or brand? The only kits I found on walmarts site don't work for the 94 Ranger. Or am I looking for a "universal" kit?

Thanks, I have a wiring harness coming by mail because they didn't have it in stock at my local best buy. But as for adapter I meant a mounting adapter.

so i picked up an Alpine CDE-141 at best buy cause they had them on sale and my stock radio died about 3 months ago. i have 2 questions about the installation.

1. do i need an adapter to mount it...

I'm looking to clean the throttle body on my 94 2.3 but i don't want to break anything, I've read the how-to's but none mention how to remove this line. they show it once it is removed but not how...

Well they work out to about a 10-15$ difference when i add the switches I like, the lifetime warranty is the real selling point.

As for including the switches, what if you don't like them? then...

I've been researching this as well... you should buy more than you expect to use just in case. i'll be buying 4 or 5 gallons for my 94 reg cab. should be enough for 5 coats(the more coats the better)...

yea 126k ain't bad at all. i got the truck April 2012 with 124k on it for $1500 with a new clutch. very very little rust, not in visible places either, the only real defect on the exterior is from...

lol, that's still a ways off, it's a 94 with 126k on it, it's going to get an internal rebuild before i put that power through it. it needs some TLC before it sees anything beyond stock
