Mine did the same slave cylinder and all is good..My starting problem was a bad starter solenoid..I bought several before one finally worked well.

15 mpg tops on my sisters 3.0 liter in town..20 max on the highway..My 4.0 liter does better.

cooler air is denser air..denser air has more O2 because cold air has more molecules of air per liter than warm air..If you can create an intake that can be kept cooler than stock and still flow more...

All of the ball joints in the front of my truck are just about ready to drop out..The shop that sold the truck to me had jerry rigged them to be in place..I saw tack welds on one of them..

The 352 was one of Fords' best engines..My 1963, 65 and 67 had them..They were not efficient but they had staying power if not over revved.

my 4.0 gets 20 mpg on the highway..17 around the county..the 3 liter may do worse where I live..My sisters' 3 liter Escape got 16..I did better with the 4.0

My 4 liter is a revvy engine, but I don't go over 4000..the way its' geared, I would be doing 100 in 4th@ 5000..sailing in 5th

A good used one is a lot cheaper than tearing down a bad one and rebuilding aren't getting cheaper, and machine shop labor is always high for the best work..the 3 liter is a hard engine to...

My wheel brake foot pedal did this for a while..I lubed the linkage, changed a front caliper and took off the master cylinder, cleaned it up and now everything is good.

I have those wrangler tires on my 4.0 liter and I get 20 MPG on the highway..The feel is not too crisp..I am thinking that the sidewalls are super soft..I won't be buying another set.

Hi, I had the same problem with my B4000..sad to say, the the clutch slave cylinder was toast..I had to pull the tranny and change it for a new one..bummer..If bleeding dosen't work..assemble...
