Thanks for the help.

Getting a flush, due to transmission is shifting a little rough. Might have some contamination in the TC. Never been flush in the years I have owned it, so about 30K miles....

Transmission Serivce question....really need some help/advice!

So I was quoted about 150 for a transmission service....change the fluid, drop the pan, replace the filter, and i believe the gasket around the pan.
Is $150 high for this service?

Yes pcityranger I just seen your post. Yes I did engage the 4WD on dry payment, I was only seeing if it engaged promperly since I had the front dif rebuit. Didn't want the snow to come and find this...

well the upper and lower control arms/ball joints have been replaced last december. In August the right and left front wheel bearings have been replaced.

Well like i stated in my 1st opening thread, I just recently had the front differential rebuilt, and wanted to make sure the 4WD was working without issues before we get snow here.

I recently had the right and left front wheel bearing hub assembly's replaced. So there are like new and I got the better quality ones.

maybe I'm wrong, but before I had the parts replaced, when I had 4WD engaged I never heard the described noises. Is it still normal though?

Well I took it to 3 different shops, all different things at each stop.
shop 1 - told me everything was good, just needed an alignment and wheel balance.

shop 2 - told me i did not need a wheel...
