Re: Burning too much gas?

I wouldn't go by the fuel gauge, there never accurate. Except the part where they read "E".... that can be fairly accurate. I noticed that after a fuel up, I'll get 75 miles before the needle moves...

Re: 1999 Ranger performance issues

Do they make headers for the 3.0? I'd love to drop my cats also, but how does that effect the downstream O2? I just don't want to have CE light on, the bulb is hard to get to for removal/repair.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread

When I bought my Ranger, the blower only worked on high, and the passenger door wouldn't work on the power lock. Today I replaced the resistor for the blower and removed the old power lock assembly,...

Re: Your Gas Mileage?

Just bought this 2000 3.0L flex, 2wd, auto supercab with 225.70R15's. I brought it back from Iowa, top MPG was 22.9mpg. Town driving only 17.3mpg. Changed the plugs (the gap on old plugs was 0.98)...

I notice a differance in the grades of fuel on my older F150, How do the different grades affect the 3.0L Flex engines?

Re: 2000 Ford Ranger Supercab 2wd 3.0l 5speed mpg's

I also just bought my ranger about 2 weeks ago. Drove it from Iowa to TN and was getting 22.9mpg. I did a plug and wire change when I got home and found the plugs were gapped at 0.98. I mean worn...
