Re: got rear ended mother efeer...

Just heard from the shop today, yes the frame was tweaked. I'd make sure yours gets checked, to be safe.

Re: TPMS Disable

Sounds like you are going to have to break the bead on it to get rid of the shimmy, why not just fix it? Kind of nice thing to have...

Re: How do people set there ECU for boost?

What? Boost, force feed? Go to some place? Buy a blower for it if you can find one and you have the 4.0. Several thousand dollars later you are force feeding your Ranger boost, and it is still a...

Re: Cheapest 2019 Ranger available in my area

I haven't even looked around here. I won't be buying, so no real point. Just for kicks maybe I will look. In a couple years when I might be able to get a used one I might look at them. IF I can...

Re: got rear ended mother efeer...

My body shop won't say no frame damage until it's on the frame machine. You might want to check, just to be safe. I would. And I am

Re: got rear ended mother efeer...

This is pretty basic and fairly universal. He is at fault. If he was rolling, he didn't stop in time. If he was stopped, he didn't leave enough space. If you hit the guy in front of you, you are...

Re: New Power Steering Pump Still Whines

Ignorant, or greedy. They just make noise. And if you ever need a mechanic again, pick a different one. This one is more interested in your money than taking care of you.

Re: Trucks for different markets

If for no other reason than the 'diesel stigma' I could be pissed at VW for what they did. Diesel's have their place, can be as clean in a car or small truck as a big truck, have great utility, but...

Re: Trucks for different markets

I am not a huge fan of the looks. But then I also feel that the Tacoma has gotten ugly as fuck too. I guess it doesn't matter as I am not buying one...

Re: Fog light Valance

I would imagine that the bumper is the same so it would fit. But to be sure, go to a site like rockauto.com and look to see if there differing bumpers available for your truck.

Re: How many miles do you have on your Ranger?

For headlight upgrade I'd strongly recommend an HID retrofit like from theretrofitsource.com. If it doesn't seem like something you can do, a member here does them. Here is his thread...

Re: E brake sticks after rain

I have had this happen on my '07. With recently replaced shoes, and new parking brake cable on it. The cable replacement was from something else. What I have heard is simply that it is the organic...

Re: 2006 Ford Ranger

Re: still no 4x4 working

I might have slowed down and done some diagnosing before throwing parts at it. You have the vacuum hubs if I am remembering correctly. And they can be very troublesome. I would have gone there...
