No it was sealed. I really took my time and built it well. Biscuit jointed all the pieces, recessed the screws and glued it. I also divided the center on the inside so there was 2 speakers per side....

It was like 51" side to side. The top was like 18" from the wall to the seat. I just put the seat where I could drive the truck. Then made my measurements to fit in the space and matched the seat...

I built a box and put 4 10's in it. I loved it. It sounded great and I still had the function of the ext cab. Like I could put my tools back there, or the dog, whatever. It was like a raised floor!
