I have 235k miles on factory ball joints, 2wd coil spring suspension. The boots have rotted off of them so all 4 ball joints will be replaced very soon.

My cousin bought it new, I'm the second owner. He changed the timing belt twice, regular oil changes and tune ups. I replaced the ball joints, fuel pump, clutch, clutch master and slave, belt, plugs...

My truck has 231k miles on it, still stops really good. I guess it wouldn't hurt to look at the brakes. The clutch only lasted 222k miles :rolleyes:

Wiggling a corroded cable loosens the corrosion and may be allowing enough current to pass through the wire to start the engine. Fix the known problem, change the cables. If that doesn't fix it more...

Did you buy the complete master that is factory bled? If not the procedure will still need to be followed to get all the trapped air out before installation.

Not sure a device that is intended to be used to circumvent laws should be considered a "modification". Best way to avoid citations is drive within the laws. That extra 20 mph could be the difference...

Mine still has the original ball joints with 224k miles on the them. The rubber boots have rotted away from the dry weather, there does not appear to be any grease in them but so far they are fine....
